At some point or another a person will get higher than they would have liked to using marijuana, unless they are sticking to pure CBD oil. This can happen to anyone including the most experienced users.

Whether you smoke one too many before you need to head to work, your parents are stopping by for dinner who don’t know you smoke, or you are just feeling far too anxious or paranoid, there is a handy trick that you should keep up your sleeve for such an occasion, and chances are you already have some sitting in your cupboards.

Peppercorns have long been suggested as a hangover cure for alcohol, but science shows that they actually work a whole lot better for taking the edge off the effects of marijuana. The two are actually eerily similar chemically and combining the two results in an intense feeling of relaxation that is sure to tame any amount of anxiety. Peppercorns contain terpenoids called beta-caryophyllene which interact with THC and cause a chemical reaction, to provide this fantastic benefit.

2 ways to use peppercorns to sober up after marijuana use

Though technically anything with even a small amount of peppercorns should do the trick, most dishes that require them can take quite a bit of time to make, which is not something that someone who is already anxious, paranoid, or not feeling well really wants to deal with. Luckily, peppercorns don’t take much preparing, but in case you do feel up to the challenge we have also included a simple recipe that is sure to perk you up and get you feeling back to normal in no time.

1. Pure peppercorns

The moment you realize that you have smoked a little too much, reach for a jar of peppercorns. Grab about 3 and crunch them and keep them in your mouth for as long as you can stand it. Though the taste is brutal, especially for anyone who isn’t particularly fond of spicy things, it will help to sober up from the effects of marijuana.

2. Citrus peppercorn cannabis high cure

Marijuana use is often an enjoyable activity but can sometimes lead to overwhelming sensations that are uncomfortable to deal with. Though peppercorns can work wonders for taking the edge off those awful feelings, the addition of a few extra supplements will go the extra mile. This hangover cure will give you a boost of vitamin C, antioxidants, fiber, folate and water which will help you to recover as quickly as possible. The best part is, it tastes a whole lot better than pure peppercorns. It’s so good that you might want to try one long before you ever over-consume cannabis.
