Easy cannabis-infused Christmas dinner ideas for two

When it comes to the holidays, most of us have enough on our plates, and it can help to settle on simple Christmas recipes that hit all of the cravings of the season without the stress of cooking a turkey. The same holds true for couples and smaller groups who don’t need nearly as much food and still want to celebrate the holiday with a mini fuss-free feast.

Luckily, we have a few easy Christmas dinner ideas on hand that can all be infused with a simple cannabutter gravy, which is rich and delicious. This Christmas recipes list can be used as a go-to tool or instead, draw from it the inspiration to create your own gravy covered dish for a simple solution to the perfect holiday meal.

Cannabis gravy recipe

You can always use your favorite gravy as a base and add in the cannabutter just before you add it to the delicious meal, but since we’re focusing on easy Christmas recipes, these instructions will guide you on how to make weed gravy quickly with a small amount of cannabutter and instant gravy granules. Just remember that you can always adjust the strength of the dish by adding either more or less cannabutter to the mix.

Ingredients

  • 2-3 tablespoons of instant gravy granules
  • 1 cup of chicken broth (or water)
  • 1 teaspoon of cannabutter (more or less)

Instructions

  1. Bring the water or chicken broth to a rolling boil.

  2. Remove the pot from the burner and stir in the instant granules.

  3. Drop the teaspoon of cannabutter into the steaming hot gravy and stir it in until it’s dissolved and thoroughly combined.

1. Hot turkey sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 2 cooked turkey breasts
  • 2 buns (or four slices of bread)
  • 1 cup of cannabis gravy

Instructions

  1. Shred the chicken breasts with two forks until it’s all in perfect bite-sized pieces.

  2. Put half of the chicken shreds on each bun and replace the top before drowning the soft and fluffy bread in some delicious weed gravy.

2. Fried turkey/chicken breasts

  • 1 cup of cannabis gravy
  • 2 chicken or turkey breasts
  • Cooking oil
  • Salt/pepper/garlic salt and other spices to taste

Instructions

  1. Add some cooking oil to a saucepan and set the burner to medium heat.

  2. Once the oil begins to spatter, it’s hot enough to drop in the chicken breasts.

  3. Spice the meat, then cook the chicken breasts for anywhere from 5-8 minutes per side.

  4. Serve the fried breast on a plate paired with fresh vegetable or potatoes that can all be covered in a thick layer of cannabis gravy.

3. Chicken or turkey pot pie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of cannabis gravy
  • 2 mini pie shells (with extra dough for the lid)
  • 1 cooked chicken breast
  • 1 celery stick
  • ½ cup of green beans
  • Salt/pepper/garlic salt and other spices to taste
  • 1 teaspoon of cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Dice the celery and toss it and the green peppers into a saucepan to soften with cooking oil for 5-7 minutes.

  2. While you wait, cut the chicken into cubes, then once the veggies are soft, drop the meat into the saucepan and mix the ingredients together.

  3. Preheat the oven to 450°F and add half of the chicken mixture filling to each of the pie crusts, along with half of the weed gravy.

  4. Add a top layer of crust to both pot pies then bake them in the oven for 30 minutes.
