  • Once the oil and pellets have melted and the two ingredients have combined, add the essential oils one at a time. Ensuring to mix everything together quite well between each new addition which will ensure an even spread of all the natural oil elements throughout the ointment.

  • Scoop or pour the liquid into a jar or other airtight container and let it cool and solidify in the fridge overnight.

  • The jar of topical cannabis cream ointment can last for several months if it is stored in a cool dark place, so be sure to keep some on hand so that it’s ready for when you could use it the most.

How to use the topical ointment

Most topical ointments are used only when there is a clear injury that needs to be healed, but this combination is so gentle that you can use it every day if you like. Below, you will find 3 different ways that we’ve highly recommend you try with your freshly made cannabis cream.

    1. Directly onto wounds
This cannabis cream is safe and won’t hurt if you need to apply some directly onto a nasty papercut or burn. The cream contains the elements needed to provide a cooling and soothing sensation, that works while the wound heals. Use with or without a band-aid to promote faster healing.

    2. Apply to dry patchy areas of skin
Cannabis cream is rich and filled with countless vitamins and moisturizers that are excellent for the skin, so if you are feeling a little bit dry, then don’t be afraid to rub some into your problem areas, just like you would with any moisturizer. The main difference is that this one isn’t full of alcohol or other drying products that most store-bought options contain.

    3. Face mask
This topical ointment is rich and thick, especially when it’s stored in a cool place like the fridge which makes it an excellent face mask. The cold will help to close up pores, while the elements go to work on reducing inflammation, dryness, and redness. Rinse the excess away and you will soon discover a freshly moisturized skin that feels almost as good as new.
