Cannabutter is the most popular cannabis concentrate that is used to make regular food favorites into cannabutter recipes and one of the greatest products derived from the marijuana plant. If you’re tired of your same old marijuana use method and are thinking of making edibles, you’re in the right place. All you need to do is use a little cannabutter as a replacement for regular margarine or butter in any traditional methods you already know and love. If you are running low on inspiration than check out these ten easy ways to use cannabutter at home.

1. Hot Beverages

Cannabutter is an easy way to make any hot drink recipe into an infused medicated treat. Use it in anything including hot chocolate, tea, coffee, lattes, espresso, and more. As long as the liquid is warm enough to keep the butter melted it should work perfectly. Just add one tablespoon of cannabutter per 1 cup of beverage directly into the cup immediately before serving.

2. Oatmeal

Instant oatmeal won’t have the same effect as it usually doesn’t stay quite hot enough once cold milk has been added. Instead make some from scratch using 2 cups of water, ¼ teaspoon of salt, ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon, 1 cup of oatmeal, and brown sugar to taste. Add the flavoring and water to a small pot and bring the liquid to a boil. Next, you will need to add the oatmeal and cook it for one to five minutes depending on the type of oatmeal you started with. Once it has boiled add in anywhere from one teaspoon to one tablespoon of cannabutter for a potent THC infused breakfast.

3. Sauces/Gravy

You can add cannabutter to almost any sauce or gravy recipe just before it is served while the liquid is still piping hot. One of the most straightforward cannabutter recipes for gravy is a white sauce that can be used on eggs, meat, or veggies. Get fancy and add in some cheddar for extra flavor or cheese specific dishes like mac and cheese. You will need one tablespoon of flour, one tablespoon of cannabutter, and 1 cup of milk. Add the cannabutter to the center of a pan and turn the burner to medium heat. Once the butter begins to sizzle, you can slowly add in the flour while mixing it in with a spatula. Once all of the flour has been added, continue to spread around the flour mixture as it activates for one minute. The mixture will begin to look a darker tinge, and that is the perfect time to add in the milk. Pour it in very slowly while combining the ingredients. Cook for another 1-2 minutes or until the sauce thickens. Serve immediately while steaming hot.

4. Cake Pops

These cake pops are one of the fastest cannabutter recipes and can be made using any cake you like as the base. If you have a cake that is already covered in icing than you just need to scoop some into a bowl and mash it together until it reaches a more malleable form. If it doesn’t thicken enough to form balls with it by hand, then you will need to add more cake. Once you have as many one-inch cake balls formed as you will need you can move onto the THC infused chocolate. You will need approximately 1 teaspoon of cannabutter and 1 cup of chocolate to dip 12 cake pops. Melt the chocolate and mix in the cannabutter once it does. Now you can dip each cake pop to coat it in a delicious medicated layer. Allow ten minutes to set before serving.

5. Butterbeer

To make this cold delicious Harry Potter themed drink you will need one ounce of butterscotch schnapps, one ounce of vanilla vodka, and 6 ounces of cream soda for the drink base.
