That sweet and creamy white goodness that we all know and love from the center of an Oreo is something that simply cannot be beat. It’s thick, which makes it go down so much better with a big glass of milk, and it’s absolutely full of sugar, without being too sweet, and that’s why it’s something that is enjoyed by people of all ages.

Unfortunately, the big cookie giant has yet to sign on with the cannabis industry, so for now, the only thing available is the regular old non-infused version, which is good, but there is no doubt that it can be better, and we’ve figured out how to do that without ever needing to turn on the oven. That’s right, it takes mere minutes to turn regular Oreo cookies into skins for a cannabutter filled delight, and we’re going to show you how to do it.

No baking necessary!

If you’re wondering how we’re going to make Oreo cookies without baking, don’t worry, as it’s as simple as adding a box of regular Oreo cookies to your grocery list. Since there is virtually no way to recreate the traditional Oreo from scratch, and we’re aiming for a flavor that competes with the real thing, it’s just way better to start with the things that you already know you love while avoiding slaving over a hot oven to make it happen.

Cannabutter Cream Oreo Cookies

These delicious cannabutter Oreo treats will need to be stored somewhere safe because they look just like the real thing, and remember that if you’re a big fan of loads of icing, you’ll want to grab a big bag of double stuffed right off the bat. By the time we’re done, they’ll be triple stuffed, and potently infused with delightful cannabinoids that will take you on a trip you’ll never forget.

Tools

Genetica
  • Silicone spatula
  • Electric mixer
  • Large bowl

Instructions

  1. Gently use a silicone spatula or other scraping utensil to remove all of the icing patties from the Oreo cookies and put them into a large mixing bowl.

  2. Once all of the chocolate Oreo sleeves are empty, toss the cannabutter, vanilla, and icing sugar in with the icing.

  3. Use an electric mixer on high to combine the ingredients until smooth, and if you don’t have one on hand, then a potato masher can suffice, but you’ll need to ensure that everything is evenly blended for dosing and flavor that remains consistent from one cookie to the next.

  4. Now that the filling is ready, use the same spatula that was used to remove the icing to put it back, and since at this point it’s been freshly made, it will spread in any thickness you like with ease.

  5. When all of the cannabutter Oreo cookies are finished, it’s a good idea to put them into an airtight storage container, as it will keep them fresher for longer, but at this point, they are ready to enjoy by yourself, or with some friends.

Cannabutter Oreo dosing

Since every batch of cannabutter will have a slightly different strength than the next one, and every person has a different tolerance level, we highly recommend limiting yourself to one cannabutter Oreo to start. From there, wait a couple of hours, and if you are still feeling good, then it is probably safe to have a couple more.

The goal is to start low and progress with moderation in mind so that you don’t end up too stoned. So, beginners may want to start with less, and experienced consumers may need more, and this is important to keep in mind as you complete this fun and delicious experiment.
