When you think of marijuana edibles, it probably doesn’t bring to mind the true base ingredients of every good cannabis recipe. That is expected, because we tend to think of the things we enjoy most, and in the case of baked goods it’s typically the sweet and rich flavours that keep us coming back for more. However, as the legal marijuana industry evolves, so do the products that we think up, and topping options are quickly becoming the latest trend.

The best part about infusing small portions of an edible is that it helps to mask the earthy flavors from cannabis that aren’t everyone's favorite feature, but that’s not the only benefit these kinds of recipes have to offer. They also allow you to experiment with dosing and make it easy to keep small amounts on hand to toss into anything that you happen to put together last minute. Though some of the most popular new options include unique choices like ketchup, mayonnaise or cheese. Here we will show you how to make cannabutter frosting in 5 different flavors to suit any mood.
