There’s nothing quite like a fresh fairground corn dog, but what you won’t find for sale there are cannabis-infused versions of this traditional snack which is why we’re going to show you how to make them from scratch. Once you’ve gathered all of the necessary ingredients, making mini cannabis corn dogs takes only 16 minutes from start to finish, which is perfect when you’re short on time or in need of something that will feed a crowd without keeping you from socializing.

Mini corn dogs recipe

Mini corn dogs make the perfect snack or meal, and though they do tend to err on the stronger side, they are such small portions that it’s easy to spread them out amongst a crowd. Ingredients

  • 12 hot dogs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup canna flour (may be replaced with regular all-purpose flour)
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ¾ cup cornmeal
  • ½ cup cannamilk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

Tools

  • Large saucepan (or deep fryer)
  • Sharp knife
  • 12 wooden skewers (cut into halves)
  • Mixing bowl
  • Tongs

Instructions

  1. Cut the hotdogs in half, and then pierce one end of each one with a skewer to make handles for your corndogs.

  2. Add the vegetable oil to a pan and let it warm up over medium heat.

  3. Pour the flour and cornmeal into a mixing bowl and sift them together.

  4. Follow up with the remaining ingredients and whip it all up until the batter is smooth and lump-free.

  5. Once the oil is hot enough to start frying, it’s time to dip each of the hotdog pieces into the batter, ensuring that every inch is coated before dropping them one by one into the pan.

  6. Cook the corn dogs for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they turn a light golden brown on the outside and the batter is crispy.
