Ingredients

  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 ½ cups brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 cup of macadamia nuts (roasted)
  • 1 cup of pistachios (shelled and chopped)
  • 1 cup of cannabutter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 ½ tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon of almond extract
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Zest from one orange

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

  2. Combine cocoa powder, salt, baking soda and flour in a medium-sized bowl, then mix these dry ingredients with a whisk.

  3. Use the large bowl and an electric mixer to cream together the cannabutter, zest and sugar.

  4. Slowly add the eggs as you go, adding one at a time until they are both well incorporated into the mixture.

  5. Scrape the sides of the bowl as the sugars will gather there in chunks, add in the extracts then blend the mixture one more time on high for 1 minute or until fluffy.

  • Pour small amounts of the dry ingredients into the creamed ones mixing gradually.

  • Add the semi-sweet chocolate chips and stir them in by hand to avoid breaking.

  • Put all the nuts into a large mixing bowl and mix them up a bit.

  • Line a baking pan with parchment paper and get your scoop ready.

  • Spoon the cannabutter batter by the ball onto the paper.

  • Use a fork to lightly press down on the top of each ball to create a flat surface.

  • Press the nut pieces into the top portions of the cookie balls.

  • Bake the weed cookies in the oven for 10 minutes.

  • Remove the cookies from the oven and allow them to cool for at least 5-10 minutes before serving or transferring to a container for storage.
