If you are used to smoking joints and find that they have become bland and less enjoyable, then you might not be doing it right. Learning how to roll a joint is only the first step on what could be a fun journey towards mastering the art of designing new and exciting ways to smoke weed.

What is a nose cone joint?

If you have ever witnessed or experienced a tulip joint, then it might help to know that this joint uses that roll as a base and takes it to an entirely new level by attaching a big fat blunt to the tip of it. Some consumers experiment by adding marijuana concentrates to the mix, but for the most part, a nose cone joint is ideal for dry herb, at least until you get the hang of how to roll one.

What kind of rolling experience is necessary to make a nose cone joint?

If you are new to rolling and haven't quite got the hang of how to roll a joint in a more basic style, then you might want to check out our tutorial and master that one first before trying something this exotic. However, if you know how to roll the most common joints like a straight or cone roll, then you are very likely to succeed with this nose cone joint project.

  3. Stick 2 king-sized rolling papers together so that they form a perfect square shape.

  • Fill the paper with herb grind, set the filter in the tip, then roll the paper upwards on an angle to create a perfectly rolled cone joint.

  • Lay out 2 additional king-sized rolling papers and stick them together using the glue strip at a 45° angle.

  • Fill the paper then roll it into a thicker cone joint than the first, and do not install a filter in this one.

  • Now feed the smaller end of the fatter cone joint into the opening of the second one with a filter.

  • Gently twist and press the two together until it’s snugly fit.

  • Now take a glue strip or blunt glue and seal the middle crack to create one massive, cone-shaped joint AKA a nose cone joint.

  • The benefits of a nose cone joint

You might look at the giant blunt and wonder what the reasoning behind its design is, but the cone nose joint offers an easy to place extension onto a roll that would otherwise need a whole sheet of uncut rolling paper to produce. Despite its size, it will contain a better cannabis to paper ratio than a regular roll which makes it healthier, and taste better, plus who doesn’t want to know how to toss together a massive joint to show off to their friends?

The nose cone joint is a perfect roll for those with less experience, and its style is something that can garner attention anywhere that you go.
