Vaporizing or as some like to call dabbing is a fairly new term for marijuana consumption. It involves using highly concentrated and highly potent marijuana waxes and resins. Vaping is quickly becoming a popular means of consuming your weed and needs the use of a vape pen or volcano for consuming the concentrate. Most vape pens are equipped with the same parts:

• Battery
• Heating chamber
• Charger
• Mouthpiece

The basic workings of the vape pen include providing a power source to the heating chamber which will heat the wax or oil producing the vapor which is then inhaled through the mouthpiece. The vape pen must be designed to accommodate the type of concentrate that you plan on using which could be wax or oil.

When you use wax never load the chamber of the pen by picking the wax or butter up with your fingers. This may degrade the concentrate; this is when the dabber tool is useful. Collect a small amount on the dabber and place it carefully in the chamber of the pen. This is the simplicity of the vape pen. As with any product, there is always a better model on the market. If you are looking for a vape with more bells and whistles to enhance your experience then a vaporizer mod is the unit for you.

The convectional vaporizer is another method of consuming your herb, the volcano vaporizer fits in this category and is classed as the best ever created. This vaporizer is a great addition for parties providing a superb flavour profile and a heavy vapor production from dried herb. The unit is expensive but promises to be well worth the investment, the convection vaporizer is deemed as unbreakable.

The marijuana wax used in the vape pens is a very concentrated form of the cannabinoid THC. This method of consuming your cannabis can be equivalent to you smoking 15 joints at a time. A very small amount of the THC wax is needed to produce the effect you are looking for. The psychoactive effects will be intensified when using the wax vaporizer.

CBD wax is another concentrate usable in the vape pen. CBD will not get you high. It does not matter what form of CBD you use; the result is the same, no high. However, the CBD wax is used in treating excessive levels of pain, depression, or anxiety. This method of consuming your CBD is extremely potent and suitable for those that using CBD in other forms like topicals or edibles are not providing the relief needed.

It is suggested that when you first begin dabbing CBD wax or THC wax you go slow.

The oil or wax concentrates that you will use in your pens come in a few different forms.

• Pre-filled disposable oil cartridges
• Refillable oil cartridges
• Wax

If you feel you have no time for physically filling the chamber of the pen with your concentrate, there are pre-filled oil cartridges that are easy to use and replace. It is as simple as unscrewing the used cartridge and replacing it with a new one.

Comparing the wax vaporizer to the oil vaporizer is a personal choice. The wax vaporizer may need more maintenance due to the sticky mess that the CBD wax or THC wax produces. The sticky mess can be from the mouthpiece to the chamber and the excess wax has a tendency to build up on the atomizer. The heating point for the wax vaporizer is 350 to 400 degrees. The oil vaporizer which most use disposable cartridges are commonly known for being less messy. The heating point for oil vaporizers is 315 to 385 degrees.
