Yaadcore is one of Jamaica’s most influential DJs in the reggae industry. He was raised in Mandeville, Jamaica and learned how to play sound system from his father who was a selector with a local reggae sound system called Love People International.

Yaadcore is the founder of global party ‘Dubwise Jamaica’, he is the creator of the popular ‘Reggae Aroma’ mix tape series and the first person to play the music of Chronixx and Protoje on Jamaican radio. Getting an entrance in the music business he first gravitated to dancehall but was displeasing of the use of explicit substance of that genre. He then found his calling amongst a group called ‘reggae revival’ which consists of young, talented musicians / artistes who were popularizing cultural vibes of classic roots reggae with a modern approach.

Yaadcore joined with Protoje, a contemporary reggae singer and songwriter, and the multi-talented Jason Panton in 2013, and became the tour DJ for Protoje. This gave him the opportunity to share the new vibrations originating from Jamaica to different countries worldwide.
