Five celebrity CBD brands to look out for in 2019
Celebrities are people that we grow up with, relate to, envy, and sometimes even emanate, and many of them now have a unique foothold in the cannabis and hemp industries that most of us could never even dream of. What is surprising is that the majority of new celebrity CBD products seem to be inspired through circumstance and a true understanding of the cannabinoids rather than purely for profit which many people find to be incredibly encouraging. Here are five high profile celebrities that are all releasing brand new CBD products over the rest of 2019.
1. Melissa Etheridge
This famous singer, songwriter, and Grammy awards nominee received her inspiration for a new line of CBD products through a personal experience with cancer that resulted in a need for strong painkillers and steroids after undergoing chemotherapy to save her life. Melissa has officially announced that her brand-new line of CBD products will be released this summer and will include CBD oils, edibles, makeup, and creams that are all derived from hemp plants to ensure the absence of the psychoactive cannabis component called THC.
2. Montel Williams
If you’re a 90's baby, then you likely remember Montel from his days as a talk show host, but did you know he’s also a cannabis enthusiast and huge supporter of CBD products as well? Though Williams has made more than a few appearances as an activist for marijuana, his true passion lies in the medicinal benefits of both THCA and CBD oil. He’s released an official announcement to the public that boasts the potential of his brand new personally designed line of full spectrum CBD oils that will be available in a variety of colors, flavors, and strength to suit any need.
3. Whoopi Goldberg
Whoopi is a famous comedian, tv host, and author has achieved success beyond her years in the entertainment industry but has chosen to dedicate the last few years to design an entire line of THCA and THC based products that are meant for women going through menopause and period cramps. Goldberg has joined forces with Maya Elizabeth who is a long-time player in the cannabis industry to introduce a line of CBD products with both sexes in mind and options that can include various levels of THC as needed. This is the very first personalizable CBD product of its kind, and the whole world is awaiting its release.
4. Gwyneth Paltrow
Though this one is already partially released, Gwyneth has announced that her successful company Gloop will be joining the CBD products market at full tilt and began publishing portions of the line up in January of this year with four more schedules releases over the next nine months. The brand is called Fleur Marche and includes hundreds of choices including CBD oils, tinctures, skin products, makeup, and edibles in a variety of colors, flavors, and packages. Her company’s goal was to create an affordable product, and so far, they seem to have delivered. Here’s to hoping for such stellar results over the next few years’ worth of hot new items.
5. Tommy Chong
You probably know Tommy Chong from his long line of stoner flicks that heavily fed into some of the most common stereotypes that cannabis users are faced with today, and the famous actor appears to regret that portion of his career. Despite the marijuana scenes being fun, and enjoyable while they lasted, there has always remained a slight amount of guilt for portraying the drug in such a negative light. Tommy has recently promised as a sort of penance that he will be releasing a product line that aligns more with the values of cannabis and hemp supporters today including a wide range of both THC and CBD products meant for medicinal purposes.
