If you aren’t quite sure how to cook steak, at all, then a really great place to start is the oven, as it requires very little handling and the results taste amazing. Unfortunately, cooking steak in the oven has gotten a bad rap from those who have tried and failed throughout the years, but this recipe includes the incredibly important step of searing, which adds to the flavor and the texture of the meat, which makes it just as good as any other method of cooking steak.

Does cooking steak in the oven make it tough?

Using the oven instead of an open grill can lead t dryness if you run a temperature too high to speed up the process, which is a common mistake that has led many to believe that cooking steak in the oven will leave you with dry pieces of meat. The key to a juicy steak that is oven-baked is in the protective coating that is used to prepare the steaks, and with this steak recipe, we use cannabis oil to hold in the moisture and shorter cooking time to reduce the risk of a tough cut of meat.

How potent is this stuff?

Cooking steak in the oven with cannabis oil at this temperature can remove some of the cannabinoids resulting in a milder dose of effects, but as long as the recommended temperature is not exceeded, and a high-quality product is used, one that is potent from the start, then these oven-baked steaks will be sure to leave you glowing after only a single serving.
