Mouthwatering cannabis infused turkey pumpkin chili recipe

With the holidays upon us, including both Turkey Day and Halloween, it only makes sense to highlight a recipe that includes the flavors of both traditions. This chili recipe enhances the delicious and mouth water aromas of this traditional comfort food and turns them into a marijuana edible delight, that is full of the nutritional benefits and taste of pumpkins. The best part is that it can be infused using a variety of different cannabis concentrates, including cannabutter, cannabis oil, rosin and THC crystals.

Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Cooking Time: 35 minutes


  • 1.5 pounds of turkey (ground)
  • 30 ounces of canned beans (any kind or combination)
  • 15 ounces of pumpkin puree
  • 2 cups of vegetable broth
  • ½ cup of heavy whipping cream
  • 3 tablespoons of cannabis oil (or equivalent)
  • 2 large carrots (peeled and chopped)
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 cooking onion (diced)
  • 2 tablespoons of thyme
  • 1 tablespoon of paprika
  • 1 tablespoon of coriander
  • ½ teaspoon of sweet chili pepper
  • ½ teaspoon of chili spice
  • ½ teaspoon of pepper
  • ½ teaspoon of salt


  • Large pot
  • Lid
  • Spatula
  • Mixing spoon


  1. Add the cannabis oil and chopped vegetables to a large cooking pot and simmer them over medium heat until tender.

  2. Now, toss in the garlic, turkey, all the cooking spices and heavy whipping cream then cook the mixture for approximately 10 minutes, or until the meat has browned.

  3. Add the herbs, beans, salt, and can of pumpkin puree. Be sure to stir the chili frequently from this point forward to avoid scalding and sticking

  4. Cover the pot and simmer the chili recipe mixture for another 25 minutes, or until it reaches a thickness and consistency that you will enjoy.

  5. Serve while steaming hot with garnish options that might include cheese, chives, onions, sweet peppers, sour cream, or hot sauce.

Cannabutter garlic toast


Nothing can warm up the soul quite like a hearty bowl of some delicious chili, but if you make it a lot, then you might want to learn a fast pairing dish or two that will taste good with the velvety bean flavors. One of the quickest and easier options out there is cannabutter garlic toast, which will provide an additional dose of THC and help you to soak up those nutritious juices in the chili.

You will need:

  • Bread (one slice per guest)
  • Cannabutter (1/2 teaspoon per slice)
  • ¼ teaspoon of garlic salt (for every two slices)
  • Baking pan


  1. Butter one side of each slice of bread and set it onto a baking sheet.

  2. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

  3. Sprinkle the garlic salt evenly across each slice of bread.

  4. Bake the garlic cannabutter toast in the oven for 5-10 minutes, or until done to your liking.
