  • 16 oz refried beans
  • 16 ounces sour cream
  • 6 ounces diced fresh tomatoes
  • ½ cup cannabutter
  • ½ head iceberg lettuce (shredded)

  • Silicone spatula
  • 8-inch baking dish
  • Mixing spoon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F, and then add the taco seasoning, refried beans and only ¼ cup of the cannabutter to a medium-sized bowl.

  2. Use an electric mixer at medium speed to cream the ingredients together until the blend reaches an even color and consistency that is smooth and relatively lump-free.

  • Move the mixture over to a baking dish, and then use a silicone spatula to smooth out the surface and press out any bubbles that may have formed.

  • Sprinkle half of the cheese over top of the refried bean layer and then toss it into the oven for 15 minutes, or until the cheese has thoroughly melted.

  • Once the cheese has melted, it’s time to add the next layer which is the sour cream. Spread it out in an even layer and ensure that every square inch of the cheesy surface is covered so that there is a little bit in every single bite.

  • Top the sour cream layer with 2 cups of your favourite salsa and spread it around for even coverage.

  • Heat the cannabutter in the microwave in 30-second increments until it is completely melted.

  • Once the butter is hot, you’ll want to work quickly, so now add the bell peppers, green onion, and enough salt and pepper to suit your preference to the cannabutter mixture.

  • Stir the ingredients thoroughly until each piece is well coated, and then spread them evenly across your first couple of layers of homemade chip dip.

  • The finishing touches are almost complete, and all your 7-layer chip dip needs now is a light sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese followed by a thin layer of the remaining salsa and then top it all off with the remaining cheddar cheese.

  • You can enjoy chips and dip anytime, but this 7-layer dip is best served when it’s freshly made as some of the ingredients can harden over time while being kept in the fridge. Take in the delightful cannabis-infused layers with plain chips, tortilla crisps, or toast, for an extra special snack that you will never forget.
