You can also add in tiny little marshmallows that genuinely make the whole thing pop. When a steaming hot cup of milk is poured over the top of the devilishly sweet morsels, the casing will melt away. With a miniature explosion, it’ll go from a neatly wrapped treat to a ready-made freshly brewed cup of hot chocolate right before your eyes.

How to make hot chocolate bombs
You’ll notice that this hot chocolate bombs recipe sticks with the simplest ingredients, but it’s effortless to switch things up for a more personalized flavour every single time. Go from white chocolate to dark, or rolo hot chocolate powder, to a vanilla bean combination with a pinch of candy cane tossed in for a seasonal flavour. There are so many different possibilities, so this recipe can be a whole lot of fun for any holiday you can think of by switching up the mould and taste of each ingredient.
Preparation: 20 minutes
Cooking: 5 minutes
- 1 cup weed chocolate
- 4 tablespoons hot chocolate powder
- 4 tablespoons mini marshmallows
- Glass bowl
- Semi circle silicone baking mould
- Pastry brush
Break the weed chocolate into small pieces and then put them in a glass microwave-safe bowl.
Microwave the cannabis-infused chocolate on high in 30-second increments, and once it begins to melt, use a whisk to crush up the pieces in between each one.
When all of the chocolate has melted, use a pastry brush to coat the sides of a semi-circle mould with a thin layer.
Place the silicone mould in the freezer for 10 minutes, and then retrieve the shells to continue.
Fill each of the hot chocolate bombs with the powder and marshmallows.
Heat the remaining chocolate in the microwave in 30-second increments until it is melted.
Use the pastry brush to seal up each hot chocolate bomb so that none of the powder can escape.
Let the hot chocolate bombs cool in the fridge for another ten minutes before removing them from the mould and then storing them appropriately.
A hot chocolate bomb will hold up to quite a bit, but these delicious little treats cannot take the heat in the slightest, so we highly recommend that they’re stored in individual sealable baggies in the fridge or freezer until you’re ready to use or gift them.
