  • 1 egg
  • 3 ½ cups flour
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ½ cup of warm water
  • ¼ cup cannabutter (softened)
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 4 ½ teaspoons active powder yeast
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon oil


  • Glass measuring cup
  • Whisk
  • Large bowl
  • Medium bowl
  • Wooden spoon
  • Wax paper
  • Baking sheet
  • Small towel
  • Parchment paper


  1. Pour the milk into a large glass measuring cup and then heat it on high in the microwave from between 1-2 minutes, or until it starts to bubble.

  2. Now add ¼ cup of sugar, the cannabutter, and salt to the hot milk, and give it a quick stir before setting it aside to cool.

  3. Next, you’ll need to dissolve 1 teaspoon of sugar and the yeast with warm water inside a large mixing bowl and leave it to stand at room temperature until you see a thin layer of foam form on top, which usually takes around 10 minutes.

  • Slowly add the scalded milk mixture to the ingredients in the bowl along with the egg and then combine them with a wooden spoon until it reaches a smooth and velvety texture that is lump-free.

  • Add the flour that is left little by little until your dough reaches a nice, tacky consistency.

  • Line the counter with wax paper and a pinch of flour before dumping the dough
    onto it.

  • Use your hands to knead the dough into a ball.

  • Lightly oil a medium-sized bowl and then drop the dough ball into it, turning it slowly until every inch is covered in a nice layer of it.

  • Take a towel and cover the dough so that you can leave it to safely rise for 30 minutes.

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and divide the dough into 18 equal portions.

  • Arrange the unbaked dinner rolls on the baking sheet and leave them to rise for another 30 minutes.

  • Right before the 30-minute wait is up, it’s the perfect time to preheat the oven to 350°F.

  • Bake the dinner rolls in the oven on the center rack for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
