Halloween recipes with weed

We’ve already given you a little bit of direction as far as what to plan for when you host a Halloween party. So, now it’s time for us to take a look at some of the most fantastic recipes to really get everyone into the spirit. All of these Halloween recipes are easy, look just like something spooky, and they’re also infused with a hearty dose of cannabis.

1. A bloody foot meatloaf

If you like regular meatloaf, then you’ll love this ghoulish combination that uses onions and hamburgers to make a convincing foot.

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Meatloaf ingredients

  • 1 ¼ lb ground beef
  • 1 ½ tablespoons cannabutter (softened)
  • ¼ cup chopped onion
  • ¼ cup chopped red pepper
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup white milk
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper

Bloody sauce ingredients

  • · 1 can condensed tomato soup
  • · ¼ cup milk
  • · 1 tablespoon cannabutter (softened)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F, and while you wait, combine all of the meatloaf ingredients aside from ¼ of the onion (preferably the largest pieces) in a large mixing bowl.

  2. Mold the meat into a foot shape and then place it onto a baking dish.

  3. Use the remaining onion to make the toenails stand out, which should almost complete the look of the foot.

  4. Whisk the bloody sauce ingredients together until they are relatively smooth and then dump it from the top of the foot stump or the ankle so that it looks like the blood has poured out of an open wound.

  5. Bake the meatloaf foot in the oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the hamburger has browned and crisped on the edges.

2. Eyeball cake pops

This Halloween version of regular old cake pops uses white icing and fruit loops along with a small dab of black icing to replicate the look of a real-life pupil.

Preparation time: 1 hour 50 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 16oz vanilla frosting
  • 1 package of vanilla cake mix
  • ½ cup cannabutter
  • ½ cup fruit loops
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • A small tube of black icing (optional)
  • 18 sticks

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

  2. Combine the cake mix, eggs, and cannabutter in a large mixing bowl using an electric mixer for the smoothest result.

  3. Grease a baking pan and then pour the cake mix in.

  4. Bake the cake in the oven for 30 minutes.

  5. Allow the cake to cool for 1 hour before moving on.

  6. Crumble the cake into small bits, and then mix it with the frosting.

  7. Roll the freshly blended combination into balls until all of it is gone.

  8. In a microwave, melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl along with the regular butter in 30-second increments until the two ingredients are liquid. Make sure to remove the bowl each time and give the mixture a stir to prevent burning.

  9. Press a stick into the bottom of each ball and then dip them before placing them spaced out to rest on a sheet of parchment paper.

  10. Once the whole batch has been prepared, press one fruit loop into the side of each one, then fill the center with a small dab of black icing for effect.

  11. Let the cake pops harden in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving.

3. Witch’s fingers pretzel sticks

Witch's fingers are one of the fastest and easiest cannabis-infused treats on this list, plus they hold up well in storage, so they can be made well in advance of the grand event.

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 3 minutes

Ingredients

  • 24 pretzel sticks
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons almond slices
  • 2 tablespoons raspberry jam
  • ½ teaspoon green food dye
  • ½ teaspoon cannabutter

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Melt the chocolate chips on high in the microwave along with the cannabutter in 30-second increments until the ingredients turn to liquid.

  3. Mix in the green food coloring.

  4. Dip one pretzel stick at a time into the chocolate, and once they are ¾ of the way covered in green sweetness, they can be placed onto the parchment paper to harden.

  5. Once the batch is complete, it’s time to move onto the nails, which just takes a small dap of raspberry jam at the tip of each “finger” followed by a single almond slice to look like a fingernail.

4. The bloody syringe (canna-cocktail)

These syringes look just like the real thing, as the deep reds of the cannabis cocktail mixture are convincing but rest assured that it’s an alcohol and cannabis infusion that your guests will approve of.

  • 1 large orange
  • 1 large lemon
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 750ml red wine
  • 1 ½ cups frozen berries
  • ½ cup cannabis tincture

Instructions

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a ½ gallon-sized mason jar.

  2. Seal the lid and then give the jar a good shake.

  3. Place the jar in the fridge for 12 hours.

  4. Fill all of the syringes that you have with the delicious bloody cannabis cocktail and place them on a platter to serve.

5. Mummy hot dogs

Mummy dogs are the perfect finger food because they’re simple to make, and they create almost no mess as you and your guests enjoy them.

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 6 hot dogs (or 12 mini dogs)
  • 1 tube of crescent dough
  • 1 tablespoon cannabutter (softened)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375° F.

  2. Open the package of crescent roll dough and use your fingers to press down to erase the pre-cut seams.

  3. Use a sauce brush to coat the exposed side of the dough in cannabutter.

  4. Slice the dough sheet into ¼ inch strips for full-sized hot dogs or 1/8 strips for minis.

  5. Wrap one strip around each of the hot dogs, and then place them onto a baking sheet.

  6. Once all of the mummy dogs are tightly wrapped, they can be popped into the oven to bake for 10 minutes.
