Cheesy cannabis meatball subs

The first step in creating a delicious meatball sub is to make some homemade meatballs, and we’ve got the perfect meatball recipe in mind. Servings: 6 6-inch subs
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 pound ground pork (or use all beef if you prefer)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cooking onion (diced)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup chopped parsley
- ½ cup cannabutter (softened)
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup whole milk
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground pepper

Add the breadcrumbs and milk to a medium-sized bowl and leave them to soak while you prepare the rest of the ingredients.
Combine the onion, beef, pork, cannabutter, eggs, and seasoning in a large mixing bowl.
Once the meat mixture looks to be an even consistency, it’s time to add the soaked breadcrumbs by folding them into the larger bowl of ingredients.
Shape all of the meat mixtures into one-inch meatballs.
Heat the oil in the saucepan and then fry the meatballs for approximately 15 minutes or until they are golden brown.
Turn off the heat once the meatballs are cooked to avoid burning and prepare the buns by opening them on plates.
While the meatballs are still piping hot, sprinkle a thick layer of cheese on top to melt and then serve the delicious subs while they are still warm for the best flavor.
Homemade sub buns recipe
Sub buns will gently hold the meatballs into place, with one side sealed, which makes it easy to avoid an accidental mess. Some people aren’t fond of creating their own bread or buns, but if you’re looking for a super easy DIY recipe that turns out perfect every single time, then this one might be the perfect solution for you.

- 5 ¼ cups bread flour (plus extra for kneading)
- 1 egg
- 1 cup water (room temperature)
- ¾ cup milk (lukewarm)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil (opt for cannabis-infused for an extra potent treat)
- 1 ½ tablespoons sugar
- 2 ¼ teaspoons yeast
- 2 teaspoons salt
- Large bowl

- Electric mixer
- Parchment paper
- Baking sheets
- Saran wrap
Add the water, sugar and yeast to a large mixing bowl and use an electric mixer to combine them until smooth.
Leave the first set of ingredients to rest, while you use a small bowl to whisk together the milk, olive oil, and egg.
Now pour the oil mixture into the larger bowl and use your hands to knead the bread dough until it comes together.
Grease a clean bowl with a thin layer of olive oil, then place the ball of dough into the center, turning it on all sides until the entire outside is thoroughly covered.
Cover the bowl with saran wrap and leave it to rise for 2 hours on the counter.
Line both of your baking sheets with parchment paper, and then divide the bread dough into 10 even portions.
Roll the dough balls by hand into the shape of sub buns and then leave them to rise for one more hour.
Once the rolls have doubled in size, preheat the oven and then bake them at 375°F for 18 minutes.
Once the sub buns are cooked, remove them from the oven and leave them to cool before serving or putting them away in storage containers.
