Flavor and texture substitutes

Not everyone prefers the same amount of sweetness in a fondu and some people like a specific texture. Here are just a few substitutes you can use in this recipe for a massive change in both flavor and consistency.

  • For a less intense chocolate flavor use half and half cream instead of milk.
  • If you prefer a deeper delicious chocolaty goodness use a bar of more bitter chocolate that contains anywhere from 65-70 percent and add an extra ¼ cup of milk.
  • To get a softer chocolate flavor use cream instead of milk.
  • Use white weed chocolate instead of milk chocolate for a sweet vanilla twist.
  • Add ½ teaspoon of mint, peppermint, orange, or any other flavor you might like instead of vanilla extract.
  • More experienced cannabis consumers may prefer a higher dose of either THC or CBD. If you want a more potent fondu than consider using cannabis-infused milk or adding 20-30 drops of tincture to the liquid right before it’s served.

Other uses

Don’t let the recipe name fool you, this marijuana edibles delight is perfect for spreading over toast, icing cakes, making cookies, spreading over waffles or pancakes, drizzling over ice cream, adding to milkshakes, smoothies, cake batters, and more.
