An easy cannabis-infused breakfast idea for Christmas morning

Its that time of year again, and there is nothing quite like waking up on Christmas morning to all of the magic that the holidays bring. So why not indulge in a delectable breakfast infused with cannabis! It is a great way to start the day, especially when it’s mixed with all of the beautiful smells, lights, music, and the people that you love.

To help with inspiration we have found a delicious easy to make cannabis-infused breakfast just for you. Even though this seems like it might be a problematic recipe, it is refreshingly simple to make, takes very little time and is very easy on the wallet, so it’s ideal for both small intimate meals and larger gatherings.

You will need:

  • Small pot
  • Ladle
  • Knife
  • Eggs
  • Lemon juice
  • Any protein of your choice recommended bacon or ham (Or if you choose a veggie, instead avocado is a great pare with eggs Benedict.)
  • Salt and pepper
  • Vinegar

This fantastic edibles breakfast yields enough for two. It takes about 20 minutes from start to finish and has an approximate dosage  10 mg of THC per edible.

Hollandazed sauce ingredients

  • 3 large egg yolks
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp cannabutter (melted)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Eggs Benedict ingredients

  • 2 English muffins (halved)
  • 4 pieces of bacon, ham, or veggies
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 tbsp of salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 ½ tbsp of chives (chopped)

Directions

  1. Cook your protein and place it on each half of your English muffin or veggie if that’s your preference.

  2. Boil a pot of water, add the salt and vinegar, place a ladle into the pot of water, and crack the eggs into it one at a time . The eggs will solidify in the water and vinegar mixture.

  3. After three minutes, remove eggs with a slotted spoon and gently place them onto the veggie or protein.

  4. Blend the lemon juice, egg yolks, salt, and pepper in a blender on high for 20 seconds then slowly start drizzling the melted butter and cannabutter in a thin stream until thoroughly mixed.

  5. Once the sauce thickens and is creamy, gently drizzle over your eggs and serve immediately.

This recipe is fantastic when it is served with a nice cup of coffee or tea and paired with some home fries on the side. You can use whatever amount you like of cannabutter, but remember that it is the base of infusion so more could lead to an intense experience. This recipe is full of flavour and will have your loved one(s) feeling a great sense of well being and joy on chilly Christmas morning!
