Everybody wants their holiday meals to be the best they can be and finding great Christmas dinner ideas is a great place to start, but so many choose to focus on the turkey. Though the bird is most certainly the focal point of every Christmas supper, it’s not the most important part of the equation, and the thing that gets left until last is usually the drink menu. Now, you probably won’t get complaints if you serve up some regular old pop, coffee, tea, or juice, but why not make a spectacle of it with the help of a bit of cannabis tincture?

What is a tincture?

For those that don’t know, a cannabis tincture is a concentrated product that contains all the delightful cannabinoids that we all know and love inside of some high proof alcohol like vodka or whiskey. If you have ever enjoyed a spiked bowl of punch, this recipe will be just like that, only with an additional boost of the euphoric element THC.

A spiked Christmas punch recipe

This wonderful Christmas punch boasts all the aromas and flavors of Christmas with a hint of cinnamon and apple pie that will fill the entire room in no time. The best Christmas dinners ideas are always those that don’t take long to prepare, and this one is perfect, as it only takes a few minutes to mix up enough punch to serve a small army of guests. However, cannabis tincture is a necessary ingredient, so if you don’t have any on hand or need some pointers on how to make some, then you might want to check out our recipe by clicking here.

Recommended dosing

Edibles like this spiked Christmas punch can induce effects that are much stronger than those that are expected from smoking cannabis. This one, in particular, is extra powerful, as it also includes the intoxicating effects of the alcohol, to produce a result that is referred to as crossfaded. Sometimes, consuming both alcohol and cannabis at the same time can impact how quickly the cannabinoids like THC are absorbed, so expect a variety of possibilities, as it may take up to 2 hours for you to feel the effects of this drink.

The sensations this Christmas punch can induce are powerful and can last up to 12 hours, so overconsumption is best to avoid, especially for new or low tolerance consumers, which is why we highly recommend limiting yourself and guests to only one glass every 2 hours. It will help to keep everyone safe and enhance the probability of everyone having the best experience. When it comes to edibles, it's always a good idea to stick with the old saying of ‘start low and go slow’ so that you’ll have a chance to fully assess the way your body reacts to the cannabinoids entering the bloodstream this way.
