Slow-cooked weed brownies, on the other hand, come out fluffier and yet somehow still dense and solid with a soft, moist finish that makes them oh so addictive. Of course, due to this difference in thickness and consistency, they will also need to cool a bit before you dig in, but the wait is more than worth the reward.

Though it does take a while to finish, the results are so thick, chewy, rich and luxurious, that you might want to work on a second batch before you’re through with the first.

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 6 ounces white chocolate chips
  • 3 cups hot water
  • 2 cups chocolate syrup
  • 1 cup chopped almonds
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup cream
  • 1/3 cup almond shavings
  • ½ cup cannabutter (diluted for less potent effects)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder

Tools

  • 8 half-pint jars with lids
  • Large mixing bowl
  • Electric mixer
  • Wooden spoon
  • Slow cooker
  • Oven mitts
  • Saucepan

Instructions

  1. Cream together the cannabutter and sugar in a large mixing bowl until the ingredients reach a smooth and light texture, which should take between 3-5 minutes.

  2. Add 1 egg at a time to the mixture, blending the batter well between each new addition.

  3. Next up is the chocolate syrup which can be poured into the bowl with the combined ingredients followed by the vanilla, baking powder, and then finally the flour, ensuring to blend each one well into the mixture.

  4. Finally, use a spoon to stir in the chopped almonds, and then prepare the jars for filling.

  5. Scoop an even amount of the batter into each of the jars before centering the lids and then sealing the containers.

  6. fill the slow cooker with 3 cups of hot water and then carefully place each of the jars upright in the warm bath.

  7. Set the slow cooker to high, cover the jars, and then wait for 3 full hours to pass before retrieving them, but they will be hot so be sure to equip yourself with oven mitts and tongs before reaching in.

  8. Leave the chocolate almond brownie cups to cool on a wire rack for at least 20 minutes.

  9. While you wait, add the cream to a small saucepan over medium heat, and then stir in the chocolate chips until they’re all melted, which should leave you with a smooth and velvety chocolate sauce.

  10. Drizzle the ganache over the top of the brownies, then sprinkle each one with a helping of almond slices before serving.
