  • 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons cannabis-infused olive oil
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Gravy ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups beef broth
  • ½ cup finely sliced onion
  • 1 cup diced mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Tools

  • Large bowl
  • Large saucepan
  • Spatula
  • Plate
  • Aluminum foil
  • Small bowl
  • Whisk

Instructions

  1. To begin, in a large bowl use your hands or a wooden spoon to combine the ketchup, Italian seasoning, breadcrumbs, ground beef, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Mix it all together until it reaches an even texture and consistency before moving on to the next step.

  2. Use your hands to divide the meaty mixture into four even portions and then roll them between your palms until they are round and a little bit flat resembling a real beef steak.

  3. Add the cannabis oil to a saucepan and turn the burner on to medium heat until it is heated enough to fry with.

  4. Drop the steaks into the saucepan, and make sure that they are evenly spaced out to avoid any accidentally sticking together.

  5. Cook the Salisbury steaks for 5 minutes on one side, and then flip them before frying them for 5 minutes on the other.

  6. Once the Salisbury steaks look done and browned around the edges, remove them from the saucepan and place them on a plate that is wrapped in aluminum foil while you prepare the gravy.

  7. Melt the cannabutter inside of the saucepan along with the mushrooms, onions, and seasoning, then bring the whole mixture to a simmer.

  8. Whisk the Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, and ketchup into the saucepan and let them cook for approximately 3 minutes stirring frequently, or until the vegetables have visibly softened.

  9. Mix the cornstarch and water together by whisking the ingredients in a small bowl until all of the chunks are broken, and it looks like a frothy glass of milk.

  10. Pour the cornstarch thickening mixture into the pan and whisk it in with the grease until the gravy looks smooth.

  11. Cook the newly added liquid for between 2-3 minutes or until it begins to thicken.

  12. Add the Salisbury steaks to the saucepan and use a spoon to gently scoop gravy onto the top of them and then remove the pan from the heat.

Serve these delicious cannabis-infused Salisbury steaks while they are piping hot for the best flavor and effects.
