3 CBD infused snacks that pair well with morning coffee

Not everyone enjoys the taste and texture of CBD oil orally, and for them, the option of marijuana edibles can come in handy. The taste of these delicious foods will make you completely forget that you are taking a health supplement as the oil is not noticeable at all. These recipes will come in handy particularly if you're hesitant to use marijuana edibles or cannabis infused goodies but are looking to try CBD. Here are 3 different CBD infused snack recipes that will go great with your daily cup of Joe or favorite steeped tea.

  1. CBD coffee cake recipe
    Nothing goes better with a coffee than a good old-fashioned coffee cake. It’s one of those treats that hits the sweet spot but isn’t too terrible for you especially if it’s enjoyed in moderation.

Crumb ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon of flour
  • ⅔ cup of brown sugar (packed)
  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
  • 1 cup of pecans
  • ¼ cup of margarine

Filling ingredients

  • 2 cups of cannaflour
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • ¼ teaspoon of salt
  • 1 cup of white granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • ½ cup of cannabutter

Tools

  • 1 9x9 baking dish
  • oven
  • 3 mixing bowls
  • 1 electric hand mixer
  • 1 mixing spoon

Instructions

  1. Preheat an oven to 350 F.
  2. Add the brown sugar, cinnamon, and flour to one of the mixing bowls.
  3. Stir the ingredients together using a wooden stirring spoon until evenly combined.
  4. Cut the butter into slices and add it to the crumble mixture.
  5. Pour in the pecans and mix the ingredients well by hand until it reaches an even consistency.
  6. Now add in the cannabutter, sugar, and eggs, and cream them together using an electric hand mixer or whisk.
  7. In another bowl mix together the baking soda, cannaflour, salt, and baking powder and mix them together by hand.
  8. Slowly add the liquid batter and sour cream to the dry ingredients by alternating back and forth and mixing them together as you go.
  9. Grease a 9x9 cooking dish.
  10. Pour the liquid batter into the dish and top with the crumble.
  11. Bake in a preheated oven for 40 minutes.
  12. Remove the cake from the oven and allow 10-15 mins for it to cool before serving.

2. CBD coffee cookies recipe

These are actually an altered Brazilian cookie that resembles a more traditional ginger snap.

Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup of cannabutter
  • ½ cup of brown sugar (packed)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon of white milk (any kind)
  • 2 cups of white flour
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • ¼ teaspoon of baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon of baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons of instant coffee (any kind)

Instructions

  1. Preheat an oven to 400 F.
  2. Cover a cookie sheet with one layer of parchment paper.
  3. Add the cannabutter, sugars, egg, milk, and vanilla and combine the ingredients until the mixture reaches an even texture using an electric hand mixer.
  4. Pour in the flour, instant coffee, baking soda, baking powder, and salt and mix them together until fluffy.
  5. Use your hands to shape the dough into balls placing them with a minimum of one inch spacing between them.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven for 10 minutes on a middle rack.

CBD bagels recipe

Bagels are the ultimate breakfast food since they can be dressed with almost any kind of food and still taste incredible. These CBD bagels are an effective and delicious way to take your daily dose of CBD.

Ingredients

  • 4 quarts of water
  • 2 tablespoons of cannaoil
  • 4 ½ cups of cannaflour
  • 3 tablespoons of white granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of yeast (instant)
  • 1 cup of cannahoney

Toppings
(any may be used as toppings are entirely optional)

  • cheese
  • poppyseed
  • sesame seed
  • onion flakes

Tools

  • oven
  • stand mixer
  • 1 pot
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 baking sheet
  • plastic wrap

Instructions

  1. Add the cannaflour, water, sugar, cannaoil, and yeast to a bowl underneath of a stand mixer.
  2. Combine the ingredients at low speed until evenly mixed. This may take anywhere from 5-10 minutes depending on how quickly you work.
  3. Lightly oil one mixing bowl and set the dough into it.
  4. Wrap the dough while inside of the oiled bowl using a plastic wrap to seal it completely.
  5. Place a towel over the top of it, and let the dough sit for 2 full hours to rise.
  6. Flatten the dough with swift punches on a clean surface and use a knife to divide the chunk into six portions.
  7. Each section of dough will need to be rolled into a tube-like shape that is approximately 6 inches long to form a bagel shape.
  8. Attach the ends of each piece by pressing them together and place them on the parchment paper.
  9. Preheat your oven to 475 F.
  10. Add any of your favorite toppings now by sprinkling or dipping the top portions of the bagels with seeds or cheese.
  11. Bring one large pot filled with 4 quarts of water to a boil.
  12. Boil the bagel for three minutes before returning them to the parchment paper.
  13. Pat the bagels dry and bake in an oven for 18 minutes on a middle rack.
  14. Remove from the oven when finished and allow 30 minutes to completely cool before serving.
