1. Michaelangelo (TMNJ)
A member of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Michaelangelo seems to be a part of the cannabis culture. His insatiable appetite and the way that he speaks lean one to believe he is a traditional stoner

2. Beavis and Butt-Head
Beavis and Butt-Head this duo spent most of their time lounging on the couch laughing at the slightest thing, maybe like some potheads you know. The show centers around the pair sitting on the sofa, eating junk food and laughing. The excellent munchie food of nachos and cheese was a definite give away.

3. Towele (South Park)
Towele is a cartoon character made for adult viewers and is not very discreet about his love for marijuana. We know that this character does not like to be referred to as a towel and desires to be high all the time. Towele has been high for several of the seasons that the show has been on the air. Cartman another character in the series has scolded him for forgetting the code. Cartman often refers to the lack of his memory because he is always high.

4. Brian (Family Guy)
Brian (Family Guy) is part of another adult cartoon show that shows no indication of being subtle around the issues of cannabis. Everyone knows how the family dog Brian is a lover of weed. Sometimes Brian is caught lazing on the couch with a bong and a bag of grass. Brian has a whole show devoted to 420. The episode focuses on Brian’s arrest for drug possession, and that event alone motivates Brian to start a campaign for the legalization of cannabis.

5. Shaggy (Scooby-Doo)
Shaggy is the iconic character that viewers always assumed smoked all types of weed. His role seemed to fit the pattern of a stereotypical marijuana smoker, and his character seemed to be associated with the stereotype of a hippie from way back in the day. His favorite word "like" was said continuously, as if he had some trouble staying focused on what he was going to say. A scene of the show involved Scooby and Shaggy in the always mysterious van. The scene focused on the amount of smoke billowing out of the van.

6. Randy Marsh (South Park)
Randy Marsh is the father of one of the main characters in the show, and in one episode he looks to find a way to get a medical marijuana card so that he can smoke cannabis products legally. He even goes so far as to concoct a plan to give himself testicular cancer by using a microwave oven. Interestingly this fictional show takes place in Colorado, which is often considered to be the birthplace of legalization.

7. Grandpa Phil (Hey Arnold)
Grandpa Phil makes it very clear that he is a pothead when lets Arnold know of his lack of education. He never finished elementary school and with prodding from Arnold, attempts to return for an education, however, that proves to be a challenging endeavor. Grampa Phil claims he has a lost too many brain cells and explains to Arnold that he lost most of them at Woodstock.
