When deciding on how to make marijuana chocolate candy, it’s best to start with some of your favorite flavors. If you are looking for a treat that is certain to please a box of chocolates made using dark chocolate and weed may be just what you are looking for. Chocolate is a favorite of many, you can't go wrong.

THC Infused Mint Chocolates Recipe

To make this recipe, you will need to create a cannabis-infused chocolate bar using dried marijuana herb. You can use either milk chocolate or dark chocolate and weed, and can alter the recipe by adding extras you love such as nuts, dried fruits, sprinkles, candy, etc. Remember, the stronger the cannabis product you begin with, the stronger the edibles you create will be.

Time to Make: 1 hour

Servings: 4-6 servings

Ingredients

  • 10 grams of dried herb (something sweet flavored like chocolate haze will pair the best)
  • 200 grams of high-quality dark chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon of mint extract

Tools required

  • A large glass bowl
  • 1 pan
  • Chocolate molds or ice cube trays
  • Herb grinder
  • 1 cookie sheet
  • Parchment paper

Instructions

Step 1 - To begin you will need to decarboxylate your dried herb. To do this preheat an oven to 115 C.

Step 2 - Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

Step 3 - Grind your dried marijuana bud using an herb grinder and remove any stem.

Step 4 - Sprinkle the bud evenly across the cookie sheet.

Step 5 - Bake ground herb for 35-40 minutes.

Step 6 - Once decarboxylation has occurred remove the cookie sheet from the oven and set it aside to cool.

Step 7 - Place a large glass bowl into the center of a frying pan. Fill with at least one inch of water. During the melting process, you may need to add more so keep an eye on the water level. Without water, your chocolate will burn.

Step 8 - Bring the water in your pan to a simmer and add the chocolate and mint extract to the bowl. The steam will slowly melt it without burning.

Step 9 - Grind the decarboxylated bud down as fine as possible before adding it to the melted chocolate mixture. Mix the powder into the chocolate until you are confident it is evenly blended.

Step 10 - Now remove the chocolate mixture from the bowl and pour it into either chocolate molds or ice cube trays.

Step 11 - Garnishing, for the most part, should occur which the chocolates are still warm. Now is the ideal time to drop in some chopped nuts, dried fruit, caramel, or whatever else you may like.

Step 12 - Allow one full hour to cool before boxing.

Step 13 - Choose a container. To make a visually appealing weed box, you can either create your own by decorating Tupperware or an old chocolate box. Alternatively, if you would prefer to design and make a bag instead, you can wrap each chocolate with aluminum foil.

Useful Tips: If mint isn’t your favorite or you would like to try a different variation when creating a weed box of chocolates for more choices, you can do so by using different extracts instead of mint. Consider using orange, mint, lemon, or chili oil for a bit more variety.
