It’s not uncommon for enthusiasts to cultivate beautiful cannabis plants for the world to see. Now that it’s legal, this type of cannabis décor is quite common, and it’s not hard to see why when you look at how much it costs to keep up with the habit, but to most, the idea of artificial plants is, well, a total waste of time and money.

What purpose could they serve when the main reason for wanting a plant around in the first place is generally so that you have something to catch a buzz with over the next few months? To many of us, cannabis décor consists of fancy Bob Marley posters and flags we hang on our walls, but the new faux plant trend is catching on, and some say that it’s helping to facilitate important conversations surrounding this taboo subject.

Pot plant an online store for cannabis décor

Pot plant began selling artificial plants that look just like the real thing last fall, with a wide range of sizes and designs to choose from that are designed as display pieces for homes and businesses. Of course, these innovative showpieces are for show, but the founders of this company say that they will also help to change attitudes about cannabis. With one of these displays, Karina Farris, a co-founder of the brand, says that people can have the chance to see the plant for what it really is, in its natural beauty.

Ms. Ferris, the brainchild of the Pot Plant business idea, comes from California, where she’d been actively working in cannabis since graduating from the state university, but she really wanted something unique to call her own that would help to ease the stigma that still surrounds the plant. She’s working to undo the damage caused by the War on Drugs, a mission that she holds dear after watching her father achieve relief from the symptoms caused by skin cancer treatments with cannabis oil therapy.

Her father was always a loud voice for the cannabis movement, and she’s followed in his footsteps as an advocate and trailblazer in the industry, bringing to the table brand new ideas that truly benefit both consumers and society as a whole. With a little luck, artificial cannabis plants could soon replace your typical flowers and other more traditional décor with a gorgeous alternative that can blend in with any style of room.

The hope is to get these pieces into the homes and businesses of non-consumers, and once that goal is reached, we’ll know for certain that society has shifted its perception for the better.

Not everyone is so fortunate to have the room, patience, knowledge, dedication or green thumb required to cultivate an impressive specimen of their own, but Pot Plant has made it so that anyone can show off their passion with an impressive look-alike that will never die, fade, or need replanting. It’s not for everyone, but it sure is an amazing solution for those who would like to, but for whatever reason, can’t grow cannabis.
