According to a press release by US Patent and Trademark, the company will be advertising the newly patented and legal marijuana infused product line as a safer alternative to consuming pure tobacco in similar products. Though there has been no official unveiling of the future product line, a snippet from the company’s CEO press release shared a small glimpse of his intentions going forward, including the Vireo Health mission at a press release on April 25, 2019.

Vireo Health CEO Kyle Kingsley issued a statement shortly after obtaining the patent to both defend and share a little bit about what the company will be offering up to customers in the near future. Kingsley who is am MD spoke from a perspective of a man who is passionate about the potential of these types of legal marijuana aids in reducing the amount that tobacco consumers are smoking, as well as alleviating some of the potentially dangerous side effects that are caused by the carcinogens in tobacco. The patent was officially granted by the USPTO based on prior cannabis research on cannabinoids anticancer and anti-addiction benefits. The soon to be available smoking aids will come in the form of a combination of cannabis and tobacco that is wrapped in a tobacco leaf, along with other, healthier options like vape juices, and cannabinoid infused cigarettes.
