There is a time and a place for everything including edibles. While some people enjoy these delicious treats at any time of the day, if you want to get the most out of the experience, it’s best to use them to enhance what you’re already doing. Here, we’re going to show you ten of the best times (according to us) to use edibles, and why.

1. At a festival

Summer is over but there’s still time to get some fall festivals in if you look hard enough, and this is by far one of the best times to take edibles. The sights will be more vibrant, the sounds will be more engaging, and all of the fun things to do will be so much more memorable, as you smile your way through it all. These events also seem to last for several hours, giving the effects plenty of time to wear off before heading home.

2. Before a concert

Concerts are full of shiny lights, loud sounds, and people screaming, and all you’ll want to do is move in one spot unless you’re slowly working your way toward the stage. For some, this hustle and bustle can be anxiety-inducing, and even if it isn’t, there’s nothing wrong with a full body buzz to help you keep on going all through the night, so why not take an edible?

3. On a hike

For the outdoorsy types, a long stroll through the forest on well-marked trails is a great way to spend the day, but by the end of it all, it is not uncommon to find energy levels running low and muscle cramps creeping up out of nowhere. Pack a weed drink to sip along the way, keeping you hydrated, and ready to handle just about anything that comes your way.

4. After a workout

Nothing feels better than a strenuous workout, but if your muscles are burning, or you’re struggling to relax from such an intense experience, then it could be a great time to take an edible assuming you’ve already made it home from the gym or track safely.

5. At the beach

It’s easy to blow a whole day at the beach and though we highly recommend steering clear of edibles once you’re getting ready to make the long journey back home, using them to enhance the experience for a few hours after arriving is perfectly safe and a whole lot of fun. Feel a body buzz creep in as you breaststroke through the waves, or get your tan on for the ultimate relaxing afternoon.

6. Before a movie

Kinloch

Whether you’re heading out to watch the latest top horror flick or a hilarious family-friendly cartoon, there’s nothing that complements the experience quite so well as tasty snacks and a high, two things edibles can provide assuming you get the right ones.

7. On a cruise

Cruises take you through the days or weeks, riding the waves, seeing the sights, and having the time of your life all on the water. This is the one time you know for sure there won’t be any driving, and it’s all one big party anyway, typically fueled by booze which is only going to leave you feeling sick, so why not take an edible or two instead? That way you can dance until the sun sets and still wake up feeling refreshed.

8. After a stressful day

Had a long, hard day at work? Or perhaps you went through something extra stressful today, like attending a funeral, or having surgery. It really doesn’t matter what happened. What is of concern is how you might be feeling after an abnormal amount of stress or sadness. Luckily, once you’re home, it’s the ideal time to sit back and enjoy some edibles, which should help you to forget some of the insanity of the day.

9. At bedtime

Many people struggle to get a good night’s sleep, whether it’s difficulty with actually passing out, or issues with staying asleep, both of which can be aided with the help of cannabinoids. The best part is that the effects will last for several hours, keeping you out like a light all night long, without any lingering side effects the next morning, so you can still be the best version of yourself.

10. Before the big game

When your favourite team is about to play, it’s easy to get worked up, and this time we often spend sitting on the couch to cheer on our favourite team or the best players, while doing nothing but eating and drinking to pass the time. So why not swap the booze for a weed drink or infuse some delicious finger foods? This will compensate for a fast, easy and effective edibles experience that’s made to share with your friends.
