What is a twax joint?

The original creators of this masterpiece are called The TWAX Gang, and according to them, a twax joint is rolled by applying hash or any other type of cannabis concentrates to either the tip, inside or outside of a marijuana paper that is filled with a dry herb. A twax might refer to any other method of combining similar ingredients including rolls, bowls, and more.

How to roll a twax joint

Twax joints are a new hot topic and gaining in popularity as marijuana concentrates become so much more widely available than ever before. With this method of rolling, you can use any kind of cannabis or hemp derived concentrate that you can think of to utilize both THC and CBD in easily controlled portions. The best part is that no fancy tools are ever required, and a good concentrate can be made from bud flowers, kief crystals, or extract some using rosin tech to draw out the cannabis sap. No matter which ingredient you decide to add, it will offer a more intensified and therapeutic experience than any simple herb ever could, and it's all thanks to the potency of all elements included in concentrates.

Ingredients

• 1 gram of cured marijuana (or organic hemp flower)
• 0.5 grams of cannabis concentrate (any type)

Tools

• Marijuana rolling papers
• 1 filter
• 1 spreading tool (This is only necessary if the concentrate you are working with is a liquid.)
• 1 weed grinder

Instructions
There are three different types of twax joint rolls, so below, you will find a simple step by step guide on how to make each one.

Method #1 - Inside of a joint

1. Grind up your cannabis or hemp flowers, and fill a marijuana rolling paper with around half of the ground up herb.
2. Now you can either roll up the cannabis concentrate by shaping it with your hands into a long tube shape or if you have a liquid, drizzle it over the center of the herb that is inside of the rolling paper.
3. Add a second layer of herb grind over top of the cannabis concentrate.
4. Prepare and insert a filter into one end of the joint.
5. Roll the twax joint as you normally would by rolling the dry herb up and down with your fingertips to achieve a nice round shape, before sealing it closed with a small amount of moisture on the glue strip.

Method #2 - Outside of a joint

1. Grind up your cannabis or hemp flowers by using scissors, or a weed grinder. Fill a marijuana rolling paper with around half of the ground up herb.
2. Fill a marijuana rolling paper with all the prepared dry herb grind and insert a filter.
3. Roll the joint just as you normally would by rolling the dry herb up and down with your fingertips to achieve a nice round shape, and then sealing it closed with some moisture on the glue strip.
4. Now if you are using a liquid cannabis concentrate, you can use a spreading tool to evenly place a thin layer on the outside of the joint. However, if you have a hard or moldable concentrate than you can just roll it into a long tube that is slightly longer than the joint you want to wrap.
5. Start at one end of the joint, and slowly turn the joint between one thumb and finger while gently pressing the cannabis concentrate into place along the outside of the roll.

Method #3 - Tip of a joint

1. Use a weed grinder to prepare your cannabis or organic hemp flowers.
2. Fill a marijuana rolling paper with the herb grind.
3. Prepare and insert a filter into one end of the joint.
4. Roll the joint just as you typically would, by rolling the dry herb folded into a paper, up and down with your fingertips to achieve a nice round shape, and then sealing it closed with some moisture on the glue strip.
5. If you are using liquid cannabis concentrate, than you can simply dip the opposite end of the filter in oils. However, for those with harder forms of concentrate, you will need to apply heat to spread a nice thin layer on the outer edges of the paper or have the faster option to dip.
