Green Relief Inc. is a Canadian company located near Hamilton, Ontario and is a licensed producer under Health Canada's Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR). The company's focus is on providing a sustainable, socially responsible product with the highest quality standards to its customers, consistently and safely. Green Relief has created the ultimate growing environment for medical cannabis. Aquaponics is an innovative and sustainable form of agriculture that combines aquaculture (raising fish) and hydroponics (soil-less growing of plants) into one integrated system. In this balanced ecosystem, microbes convert ammonia from the fish waste into nitrites and then nitrates, providing an organic food source for the growing plants. The plants utilize these plant nutrients and act as a natural filter to purify the water that is returned to the fish. Unlike aquaculture and hydroponics systems where large volumes of water must be discharged regularly or replaced due to salt and chemical build up, in an aquaponics system, fresh water is simply added periodically to replace water lost to evaporation and transpiration.
